Eco-School Barría

We are students of the IES Samaniego (La Guardia) and we're from different places in Rioja Aleves. We are aged between 13 and 15, and we are at ECO-School Barría. Usually we talk about the environment. Rioja Alevesa is near to Vitoria, that go European Green Capital 2012.

We write about water and conservation. Water is important because it is vital for life and the life of other animals and plants. Water should be clean and we should keep it safe.

Everybody uses water because if we don't we will die. In our homes and at school we use water to drink and to wash. The farmer uses water for the animals and plants. We can'd use dirty water or water that is contaminated.

We need to conserve water to keep it clean and safe. If we don't conserve we will not have enough to drink and we will have no oceans, fish , and no wildlife.

To conserve water we should close the tap when we are cleaning our teeth, and when we wash things in our house. We should be careful of the water we use.

Water is very important for the world, and we need to protect it. It is the responsibility of everyone. We will protect water for future generations.
